At the Bell Centre, every Canadiens game is more than a sporting event: it’s an opportunity to support and inspire the community. Through food redistribution initiatives, awareness campaigns, and local partnerships, we transform the energy of the stands into concrete actions for those in need.

Key Achievements:

  • Surplus food from suites and concessions is redistributed to local organizations helping those in need, while fighting food insecurity and waste.
  • Each game not only excites on the ice — it also stimulates the local economy, from restaurants to nearby shops, supporting jobs and community initiatives.
  • Each season, the Bell Centre celebrates diversity and supports the community with theme nights: Lunar New Year, Black History Month, 2SLGBTQIA+ initiatives, The Goal is Green Night, First Peoples Celebration Night, etc... Games that make an impact — on the ice and in the community!
Did You Know?

Since 2007, the Montreal Canadiens and La Tablée des Chefs have teamed up to redistribute surplus food from the Bell Centre to local organizations. Since the launch of this initiative, more than one million portions have been provided to people in need, while reducing greenhouse gas emissions related to food waste.
